A/V and Stage Preferences
Equipment Nolan Brings:
-
MacBook: Nolan brings his own MacBook that is preloaded with all necessary visuals, videos, and specialized plug-ins tailored for his keynotes. If the A/V team would prefer to run the presentation off their computer, Nolan asks that the A/V team confirm that all visuals, videos, and plug-ins operate correctly.
-
Wireless Clicker: Nolan can bring his own if not already available from the A/V team.
-
HDMI Output: Nolan's Macbook contains a built-in output for A/V hookup, if using Nolan's laptop for the presentation. An external headphone jack is also available for A/V sound needs.

Microphone Preferences:
-
Nolan is flexible and can accommodate any microphone preference specified by the A/V team. His preferred choice is a lavalier (clip-on) microphone, but he is adaptable to other options as needed, such as a handheld mic.
-
During his keynotes, Nolan often moves throughout the audience area at given times and requires a microphone that ensures clear audio capture without interference from speakers.
-
Nolan will use a TASCAM audio recorder equipped with an XLR input to capture stage audio. No action is required from the A/V team other than connecting into the sound mixer. Nolan will handle the setup and operation independently. He will connect his recorder in advance, ensuring it remains operational throughout the event.
Stage Setup Preferences:
-
Visual Display and Speakers: The A/V team to provide a visual display and audio speakers that ensure all attendees, regardless of seating location, can clearly see and hear the presentation.
-
Time or Countdown Clock (Not Required): A visible clock, either at the front of the stage or visible from the back of the room, to help Nolan manage his presentation time effectively. Nolan places a high priority on keeping with the proper timing of events to ensure the smooth & on-time flow of the conference for meeting planners.
-
Monitor (Not Required): Position a confidence monitor at the front of the stage, allowing Nolan to view presentation slides and content seamlessly without turning his back to the audience.
