A/V and Stage Preferences
Equipment Nolan Brings:

MacBook: Nolan's MacBook is preloaded with all necessary visuals, videos, and specialized plugins tailored for his keynotes. He prefers to use his own MacBook to ensure compatibility with his presentation materials and plugins. In the event of equipment failure, Nolan is happy to provide backup slides in-advance to the A/V team to maintain the continuity of the presentation.

Wireless Clicker: Nolan can bring his own if not already available from the A/V team.

HDMI Output: Nolan's Macbook contains a built-in output for A/V hookup. An external headphone jack is also available for A/V needs.​

Microphone Preferences:

Nolan is flexible and can accommodate any microphone preference specified by the A/V team. His preferred choice is a lavalier (clip-on) microphone, but he is adaptable to other options as needed.

During his keynotes, Nolan often moves throughout the audience area at given times and requires a microphone that ensures clear audio capture without interference from speakers.

Nolan will use a TASCAM audio recorder equipped with an XLR input to capture stage audio. No action is required from the A/V team. Nolan will handle the setup and operation independently. He will connect his recorder in advance, ensuring it remains operational throughout the event.
Stage Setup Preferences:

Podium or Table: Provide a side-stage podium/table for Nolan to place his props and materials, ensuring it's positioned away from the center to allow Nolan to freely move throughout the stage. This setup accommodates his dynamic speaking style.

Visual Display and Speakers: The A/V team to provide a visual display and audio speakers that ensure all attendees, regardless of seating location, can clearly see and hear the presentation.

Time or Countdown Clock: A visible clock, either at the front of the stage or visible from the back of the room, to help Nolan manage his presentation time effectively. Nolan places a high-priority on keeping with the proper timing of events to ensure for the smooth flow of the conference for meeting planners.

Monitor: Position a confidence monitor at the front of the stage or ensure it's visible from the back of the room, allowing Nolan to view presentation slides and content seamlessly without turning his back to the audience.

Social Media Promotion
Nolan is happy to support event promotion through social media graphic and video content. He will submit any posts to the event organizers for approval prior to sharing. Similarly, any content from the event organizers will require Nolan's approval before publication.

This collaborative approach ensures that all promotional materials align with the event's objectives and maintain a consistent message.
Filming and Photographry
Nolan reserves the right to engage the services of a personal videographer/photographer for the purpose of recording his keynote and/or capturing photographs while at the event. In exchange for this, all photos & video can be given to the Client at their request, free of charge.

If the client plans to hire a videographer or photographer for the event, Nolan would appreciate access to any resulting photos or videos.
​
Nolan shall be and is the owner of all rights, title and interest in and to the Presentation, Presentation material, including the copyright. No portion of the keynote recording may be reproduced by any means without written permission from Nolan Nichols.
